Veteran's
"Declaration of Service"
I am a VETERAN of the Armed Forces of the United States of America. I did honorably support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; and did bear true faith and allegiance to the same.
I believe that my duty as a civilian should reflect as strong a commitment to the Constitution of the United States as did my military service, lest the labors of our Founding Fathers, and the service of those who served before me, beside me, or after me, should have been in vain.
I believe that our Founding Fathers felt divinely inspired in writing the Constitution of the United States. May God bless the United States of America, and may the United States forever remain worthy of God's blessings, and the service of the VETERANS of the Armed Forces of the United States of America.
Veterans of America .US
"Veterans of America" is an organization of American veterans, consisting of men and women, of all ages, from all wars, and from peacetime. We have served in all of the Armed Forces of the United States, and have performed every job that can be imagined, and some that can not. Many of us served voluntarily, and many did not volunteer, but served because it was the right thing to do. We share a deep respect for one another, and for the brave men and women serving in our armed forces today. We pray for our WOUNDED, and have an emptiness for our MISSING and for those WHO HAVE GIVEN ALL for our country, that can never be filled. We pray for peace, but when peacemaking fails, the Armed Forces of the United States must be prepared to defend our nation and the innocent from harm. We share a common bond in having served our country and our fellow citizens, and in having defended the Constitution of the United States with honor and pride, as have so many generations before us. We are all "VETERANS". We do not meet. We have no agenda. We do not have a board of directors, executives, or conventions. We do not ask for donations, contributions, or dues.

Memorial Day- 2012
Another Memorial Day is upon us, and with it the sadness of knowing that we've lost many fine men and women to war during the past year. We have many heroes and patriots to honor and remember from many eras, and our hearts and spirits are now being tested once again.
We know that, as Veterans of America, you will take the time to properly remember ALL of our War Dead this Memorial Day. We ask that you think back to those friends and family that you may have lost, and then give a special thought to those who have so recently given their all for us.
Thank you and God bless you all.
MOTTO:
" THE BLOOD OF THE FALLEN
RUNS THROUGH OUR VEINS "
CONGRATULATIONS VETERANS
VETERANS (and active-duty military not in uniform) can now "officially" render the military-style hand salute during the raising, lowering, and passing of the flag, and during the playing of the national anthem, as included in the Defense Authorization Act(s) of 2008-09.
This honor has been a long time in coming. However, it has not been highly publicized, and it is our job as veterans to pass this information along. We at Veterans of America certainly consider the Pledge of Allegiance, and the passing of the flag-draped remains of veterans and all servicemen/women to fall within these Acts.
(Our very special thanks and appreciation to U.S. Army veteran Senator Jim Inhofe [OK] for sponsoring this legislation, honoring all veterans, including himself.)
